We welcomed DJ to the South Jersey Physical Therapy family in September 2016.  He was raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and attended Cherry Hill West where he competed and served as captain on the varsity soccer team for three years. His passion for movement and athletics continued to flourish during his undergraduate career at Temple University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Kinesiology.

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, DJ completed his physical therapy graduate studies at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He served as one of four class representatives for his class and was honored with the PT Society “Excellence” award in his final year. During his time there, he gained valuable experience working with various diagnoses during his full-time clinical rotations throughout New Jersey and in Denver, CO. DJ completed his final rotation at a sports orthopedic practice where he developed a special interest in sports related injuries, strength and conditioning, and optimizing human performance. In September of 2017, he earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credentialing through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and completed the Clinical Athlete Clinical Weightlifting Coach certification where he gained valuable information about the movement, mobility, and corrective programming for Olympic-style lifts. DJ is also a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting (USAW) as of August 2018. He continues to have aspirations of future specialist certifications such as those held by his fellow colleagues.

In his spare time, DJ enjoys training CrossFit, running, playing in amateur soccer leagues around the South Jersey and Philadelphia areas, and spending time with family and friends. DJ is dedicated to providing his clients with exceptional care while utilizing the most current evidence-based techniques. In order to enhance his knowledge of the treatment and management of sports injuries and rehabilitation in athletes of all ages, he plans on further developing his skills in the areas of orthopedic manual techniques, strength and conditioning and nutrition.

Our newest addition, Brielle, started with us in July 2017 after relocating from Monmouth County.  She grew up in Collinswood, New Jersey where she attended Collingswood High School.  During her time she participated in soccer and lacrosse as well as the Honors program and Student Council.  After graduation, she spent two years at Camden County College through the New Jersey Stars program before moving on to The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a concentration in Physical Therapy.  At Stockton, she met her husband and moved to Middletown, New Jersey where she lived for the last five years.

Brielle has always had a personal interest in physical therapy since she, as well as several family members, have had positive outcomes through treatment over the years.  She completed many volunteer hours in both physical therapy and occupational therapy in offices as well as within the school system.  Prior to her move, she worked as an aide at Rehab Connection in Barrington, New Jersey.  After moving she had the opportunity to manage at Twinboro Physical Therapy in Red Bank, New Jersey where she found her passion for helping patients from behind the scenes.

She has recently moved back to the area where she now lives in Cherry Hill with her husband Kiernan and their son, Kaiden.  Their family is completed by several beloved pets, a lhasa apso/poodle mix named Bella, a black lab mix named Louie, and a rescue cat named Tux.  In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family.  She has a passion for the outdoors and loves hiking, kayaking, and the beach.
